Eric Zimmerman channels years of experience into his work with Colliers of South Carolina

Drawing on years of professional expertise in real estate and property management, Mr. Zimmerman presently excels as the assistant director of real estate management services for Colliers of South Carolina, where he began in 2023. Prior to obtaining his current position, he worked as the senior property manager of acquisitions for Colliers International in Greater Columbus between 2012 and 2023. Over the course of more than a decade, he oversaw a five-person team that managed a four million-square-foot area. During the early stages of his career, Mr. Zimmerman gained valuable expertise in the field with Winthrop Management LP.

An expert in his field, Mr. Zimmerman earned a real estate license from Hondros College. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in raising three children. While his oldest daughter followed in his footsteps, his second child serves as a financial advisor in Honolulu, Hawaii and his youngest is in college studying to become a project manager.

Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Mr. Zimmerman credits his overall success to his strong work ethic and his ability to get along well with a variety of different people. Looking toward the future, he intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career. Ultimately, Mr. Zimmerman aims to become the director of real estate management in Columbia. Likewise, he hopes to double the size of the company’s existing portfolio, as well as the number of property managers on staff.
